Pacifica Network News will bring live coverage of May Day, a day of solidarity, when workers, educators and communities demand workers over billionaires. 

Coverage will include interviews and roundtables with movement leaders, representatives of unions such as the American Federation of Teachers,  Southern Service Workers, and Global Trade Unions discussing current issues such as education, government corruption, healthcare and services for workers.

Historians will review past labor movements and the history of May Day, along with audio from the Pacifica Radio Archives of past May Day demonstrations.  

We will hear what is happening in the streets of Washington DC, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, New Orleans, Ashville, as well as voices from Cuba, Palestine, and South Africa.
