The FCC has announced a new filing window for Low Power FM radio stations! This is important because radio frequencies are a finite resource. Now is the time for non-profit organizations to give a voice to their community.
The window will be open from November 1st through November 8th.
The FCC announced in a June public notice, “this will be the first LPFM filing window since 2013, and we encourage potential applicants to begin familiarizing themselves with the application process. New applications must be filed electronically on FCC Form 2100, Schedule 318 in the Bureau’s Licensing Management System (LMS).”
For more info on the filing window, contact James Bradshaw, James.Bradshaw@fcc.go; of the FCC Media Bureau
